Halloween Wooden Wreath

Hello friends. Larissa here with you today. So I am still workig on Halloween decor. Today I made this fun wooden Halloween Wreath. I will explain what happen as I go.

For this project I used:
Proxxon Delta Sander
Proxxon Scroll SawWooden Bats
Thin piece of wood for the wreath
Paint: Orange, Black, White, Light Pink
Different sized brushes
Hot Glue

So to start out I used my Scroll Saw to cut the wreath. Unfortunately I did not have the ability to take a picture of this since I was working on it by myself and no one was home to help me take photos while I cut.:)

I used the Delta Sander to smooth the edges of the wreath and the bats.

The edges were pretty rough and since the wood is really thin I didn't apply very much pressure as I was afraid of sanding too much off.
I then painted the wreath with two coats of orange acrylic paint and the bats with one coat of black.

.

Once the bats dried which really didn't take that long, I added the faces with a detailed brush.

I attached the bats to the wreath with hot glue. And it fit in the spot I was hoping it would on my wall.

I hope you enjoyed my project today, even though I left a few pictures out. I am still shaking my head on that one. :)

Have a wonderful day friends.

Coffee Time

Hello friends. Larissa here today with a fun way to make a wreath.
I am addicted to coffee theme items. Whether it be stamps or actual coffee cups. So today I decided to try something a little different.

Products Used:
Proxxon Hotwire Cutter Thermocut
SmoothFoam 2x4x8 Block
Plaid Folk Art HomeDecor Vintage Victorian Paint

Plaid Folk Art Brushes
The Stamps of Life Coffee4two Stamp set
Versafine Onxy Black ink
Grapevine Wreath
Canvas Letter
Beacon Premium Tacky Glue
Pink Sheer Ribbon
I drew a light pencil drawing of a coffee cup on the Smoothfoam. Then I cut it out using the Hotwire Cutter.  Still think this machine is the best thing ever made.

I then cut the cup three times.

I painted each cup using the Plaid Home Decor Paint. I used one coat on each cup.
I then stamped the image on top of the each cup using Versafine Onxy Black Ink. I have to admit that the stamping is super smooth and easy.

I then added some ribbon to the wreath with a big bow.

I added this wreath in my kitchen above where my new coffee station will be. I will post pictures on Instagram and such when I get it all finished.

I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful day friends.

How To Create A Valentine Candle Decoration Using The Proxxon Hot Wire Cutter

Hi everyone, Tammy Santana here today with a fun and inexpensive Valentine craft! I love finding fun supplies at the Dollar Store to make projects with. I found some cute heart stickers, a battery powered candle, some ribbon, and a wire wreath form that I decided would make a great Valentine decoration.

Supplies I used:
Ribbon
Small wire wreath form
Battery powered candle
Heart embellishments

How I made the Valentine candle decoration:
1. Cut and heat seal ribbon with the Proxxon Hot Wire Cutter.
2. Tie each piece of ribbon around the wire wreath form.
3. Add heart embellishment stickers to the candle
4. Place candle inside of the ribbon decoration
This craft is so cute and so easy to make! With all of the different kinds of ribbon and sticker embellishments available at the Dollar Store, you can make one of these for every holiday. These would work nicely as a centerpiece or decor for a powder room.

I love to see your projects! Tag me on Instagram @TammySmithSantana
